Freedom is a high-energy, relationally-driven ministry that is passionate about seeing Jr. High and High School students connect into healthy relationships with Christ and each other. In Freedom, we talk about everyday issues.
Who is Freedom for?
Can you or your student answer “Yes” to any of the following questions:
- Divorce
- Self Harm
- Drugs
- Alcohol
- Anorexia & Bulimia
- Abandonment
- Anger
- Self Confidence
- Disappointment
- Sex
- Negativity
- Depression
- Abuse
- Anxiety
It is important to note that Freedom is also a valuable tool for students who are supporting friends and family members who are dealing with these issues as well. So when do we meet?
Every Friday Night
- 6pm to 7pm – BBQ/Connect Time
- 7pm to 8:30pm – Worship & Learning Experiences
- 8:30pm to 9pm – Small Group Discussion
- 9pm to 10pm – Hang Out Time
* Free Childcare Available
Dinner is an optional time to hang out and meet some new friends which will develop into accountability partners.
General Meeting follows dinner where the students meets together for worship, a teaching of one of the steps of recovery, which is very interactive and engaging among the students, or they will experience listening to a testimony from someone who has been through the program.
Small Groups are facilitated by Leaders who have been through recovery themselves. Small groups are a safe place to open up about life struggles and celebrate the victories God is giving us. All groups are age and gender based.
Hang out time gives us a chance to get to know people from our groups.
